April-National Poetry Month

This is National Poetry Month as well as Poetry Writing Month so I am going to attempt to write a poem every day. This poem is an attempt at a form I read of recently that is like Haiku but is also very different. It is based on syllables but the way it goes is; the first line has 1 word but 2 syllables – the second has 2 words and 3 syllables – the third has 3 words and 4 syllables and the fourth 4 words and 5 syllables. I couldn’t remember the rest so I made it up by reversing the number of syllables and words per line. I couldn’t remember the name of the poetry form or where I found it but I liked the challenge so here it is. If anyone knows the name of this form help me out and let me know.
